Privacy Policy

The Short Version
mungbeans.io is a stock screening tool and a place I write about what it finds. There are no accounts, no advertising, and nothing is sold to anyone. The one thing collected beyond ordinary traffic measurement is a count of clicks on the referral links, described below.
What We Collect
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 measures how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly where they came from. IP addresses are anonymized and Do Not Track is respected. The data is aggregated; individual visitors are not identifiable.
Referral link clicks
The site carries referral links to research tools, all of them listed at /tools/. When one is clicked, an event is recorded in Google Analytics noting which tool was clicked, which page it was clicked from, and which style of link it was. No personal information is attached and the click is not tied to an identity.
This exists so the placements can be judged on whether anyone finds them useful rather than on guesswork. If you subscribe to one of those tools, mungbeans.io earns a commission at no additional cost to you, as described in the affiliate disclosure.
If you subscribe to the mailing list, your email address is stored by Netlify Forms and used to send the weekly signal report and deep dive notifications. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, which removes the address.
What We Don’t Collect
- No account creation or login
- No personal financial information
- No advertising, and no advertising cookies. The Google AdSense integration that a previous version of this policy described was removed in July 2026
- No tracking across other websites beyond what Google Analytics does as described above
Cookies
Cookies on this site come from Google Analytics. mungbeans.io sets no cookies of its own. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, and the site works normally with them blocked.
Third-Party Services
- Google Analytics: traffic and referral click measurement. Google’s privacy policy
- Netlify: site hosting and form handling. Netlify’s privacy policy
- ZeptoMail: sends the weekly email. Zoho’s privacy policy
Clicking a referral link takes you to that company’s own site, where their privacy policy applies rather than this one.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
